Ms. Shallu Garg is a Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) and a Senior Associate at Factum Legal. She advises domestic and international clients on a broad range of corporate, commercial, regulatory, and insolvency matters, with a particular focus on delivering practical and commercially aligned legal solutions.
Her core area of practice is the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, where she has extensive experience in advising on insolvency resolution, voluntary liquidation, corporate restructuring, and related regulatory matters. She regularly assists Insolvency Professionals, corporate debtors, creditors, and other stakeholders in navigating complex insolvency proceedings, ensuring compliance with the statutory framework while facilitating efficient resolution and restructuring processes. She also has experience in coordinating and liaising with regulatory and enforcement authorities, including the Enforcement Directorate (ED), in matters involving insolvency and regulatory investigations.
In addition to her insolvency practice, Ms. Garg regularly advises listed, public, and private companies on matters under the Companies Act, 2013 and SEBI Regulations. Her experience includes corporate governance, secretarial and regulatory compliances, board and shareholder matters, corporate actions, and ongoing advisory on general corporate law issues. She works closely with clients in addressing regulatory challenges and developing legally robust and commercially viable solutions.
Prior to joining Factum Legal, Ms. Garg was associated with a listed company, where she was responsible for legal and secretarial compliances, corporate governance, securities law compliances, and corporate restructuring initiatives. Her in-house experience provides her with valuable commercial insight, enabling her to effectively advise businesses on both strategic and operational legal matters.
